Differential treatment to candidates in Congress presidential polls, says Tharoor_我的网站

一 |     New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Thursday said there were systematic flaws in the Congress presidential election process, even as he clarified he was not suggesting it was intentional.

The Thiruvananthapuram MP also indicated at differential treatment between him and Mallikarjun Kharge, who is being seen as the choice or the party leadership. Congress has maintained the party is not backing any candidate officially.

Addressing a press conference here, Tharoor said while he is not pointing fingers at Central Election Authority Chairman Madhusudan Mistry, there are flaws in the system.

"I am not saying anything against Mr. Mistry, there are some flaws in the systems which we all know. There have not been elections for 22 years..." said Tharoor.

He said there were discrepancies in the lists of voters provided.

"One list was given earlier, another list was given on Wednesday.... Some names were different in the lists, for some names, there was no phone number," he said.

"I am not saying it's being done intentionally. There have not been elections in our party for a long time. So there are issues. I know Mr. Mistry and his team are trying to hold free and fair elections. We are not complaining against them but there ar problems with the system," he said.

"That is why I used open mediums to take my message across. I am not sure I will be able to reach everyone before 17th."

He also pointed at differential treatment to candidates.

"Another issue is what some leaders did, that is why I said there is no level playing field. At a lot of places, big leaders, PCC chiefs welcome Kharge ji, call people for meetings. This happened for only one candidate, not for me," he said.

"Many times when I went to some PCC, the PCC chief became busy on the day...I am not complaining, but do you not see a difference in treatment?"

Election will be held on October 17, counting will be held on October 19 and results will be declared.

UNI AO BAV。    जागरण संवाददाता, अंबाला। महिला शिक्षकों के साथ छेड़छाड़, अश्लील मैसेज भेजने, होली पर जबरदस्ती रंग लगाने व जबरदस्ती दूसरे शिक्षण संस्थानों में ले जाने के आरोपों में घिरे संस्थान के प्रिंसिपल की दिक्कतें बढ़ गई हैं। मंगलवार रात को प्रिंसिपल पर केस दर्ज करने के बाद बुधवार को शिकायतकर्ता महिला शिक्षक के साथ महिला पुलिस टीम ने संस्थान में पहुंचकर मौके का मुआयना किया।,इस दौरान स्टाफ से भी पूछताछ टीम ने की। करीब आधे घंटे तक टीम संस्थान में ही रही। लेकिन प्रिंसिपल अवकाश पर रहे। हालांकि, टीम की कार्रवाई के बाद प्रिंसिपल संस्थान पहुंचे और शाम को करीब छह बजे तक संस्थान खुली रही।,पूछताछ के बाद शिकायतकर्ता महिला शिक्षक को पुलिस टीम 164 के बयान दर्ज करवाने अपने साथ कोर्ट ले गई। समाचार लिखे जाने तक आरोपित प्रिंसिपल की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हुई थी। बताया जा रहा है कि प्रिंसिपल आधिकारिक तौर पर अवकाश पर चले गए हैं। हालांकि संस्थान में कार्यवाहक प्रिंसिपल ने किसी भी तरह की बात करने से इनकार कर दिया।,महिला शिक्षक ने टीम के सामने बताया कि उसके साथ 10 महीने प्रिंसिपल ने अश्लील हरकतें, द्विअर्थी बातें कर उसका सांस लेने तक दुश्वार कर रखा था। बताया जा रहा है कि कोर्ट परिसर में शिकायतकर्ता महिला शिक्षक फूट-फूटकर रो भी पड़ीं। दूसरी महिला शिक्षक भी अभी खा रही धक्के दूसरी तरफ न्याय की आस लिए इसी संस्थान की अभी दूसरी महिला शिक्षक भी धक्के खा रही है।,अभी केवल एक ही शिक्षिका की शिकायत पर केस दर्ज किया है। दूसरी महिला ने छेड़छाड़ के साथ जातिसूचक शब्दों कहे जाने के आरोप प्रिंसिपल पर लगाए हैं। महिला शिक्षक ने कहा कि जब उसने विरोध किया तो प्रिंसिपल ने उसके चरित्र पर उंगली उठाते हुए दूसरों के साथ गलत संबंध जोड़ने शुरू कर दिए और नौकरी खराब करने की धमकी देने लगा।,पुलिस ने 75(2), 78(2), 79 बीएनएस के तहत केस दर्ज किया है। महिला शिक्षक ने दर्ज शिकायत में यह भी आरोप लगाए हैं कि प्रिंसिपल इन सबका आदी हो चुका है। 1997-98 में छात्रा के साथ आपत्तिजनक हालत में पकड़ा गया था, जोकि उसकी सर्विस रिपोर्ट में दर्ज है।。
